Function : Proximity firefighting operations include aircraft rescue and firefighting, bulk flammable liquids firefighting, flammable gas firefighting, and similar situations releasing high levels of radiant heat. The aluminized fabric provides a reflective outer surface to withstand radiant heat of over 1,000 °C .
